What About Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks?
How far are you from Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks? We get this question all the time.
The Bitterroot Valley is located midway between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. According to Google Maps you can drive from one park to the other in about 8 1/2 hours. This route will take you right through the heart of the Bitterroot Valley where all of our cabins are located. No one wants to burn out on driving during their vacation, so stop in, and stay at one of our cabins on your way through!
Many of our guests ask about day trips to the parks when staying in the Bitterroot Valley, but the distances involved really aren’t ideal for a day trip. You’ll want to spend some quality time in the parks so we recommend you spend a night or two closer to the park you are visiting before or after your Bitterroot adventure.
The Bitterroot Valley is a great location to relax in between the hustle and bustle of the often crowded parks. There is nothing like the grandeur of our country’s most visited national parks, but to fully experience western Montana’s recreational, scenic and cultural opportunities, be sure to schedule some time in the quiet, relaxing environment of the Bitterroot Valley.
