Como Peaks Cabin
Picture your group gathering in a custom built cabin perched on the ridge line of Lost Horse Hill, taking in the unobstructed views of the Bitterroot Valley in every direction. This is Como Peaks Cabin. You’ll be surrounded by 30 acres of unspoiled Montana privacy while outside of the cabin, and you’ll be spoiled by the long list of thoughtful amenities provided while you are inside this special home.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on two levels in this approximately 1,500 square foot cabin. The master bedroom is located upstairs in the loft with a king size bed and a private bathroom. One bedroom on the main level features a queen sized bed and the second main level bedroom features two twin beds. The main level bedrooms share the main level bathroom.
The high vaulted ceilings create a large open space that is ideal for gathering with your group, and floor to ceiling windows open the south end of the great room to spectacular views of Como Peaks, one of the iconic views of the Bitterroot Mountain Range.
A cozy gas fireplace adds charm and warmth for chilly nights and winter visits while central air conditioning keeps the cabin cool during warm stretches of the summer.
The kitchen is perfect with all new appliances and provisions including a high-end dual-fuel range, refrigerator and dishwasher, and if you need to run a load of laundry you’ll find an amazing front-load washer and dryer for your use.
There’s an extra deep wrap-around covered deck that provides lots of room for enjoying the outdoors while taking in the spectacular views, and a nice flat lawn area for the kids to enjoy while you relax.
And if you need to keep in touch during your Montana visit the cabin offers WiFi and Dish Network satellite TV, and cell service is available from providers offering service in this part of Montana.
The cabin is located just minutes from the Lost Horse area of the Bitterroot National Forest with scenic drives, lots of hiking, trout filled streams, and gorgeous lakes to be explored. The town of Hamilton is a quick 10 minute drive from the cabin and the charming historic town of Darby is also about 10 minutes away. So many happy memories were made here during our stay. I’m really lucky to be able to share this incredible cabin with my wife. Thank you so much.

Being from PA, we normally go somewhere warm this time of year. My husband always thought it would be nice to stay in a log home out west and watch it snow. So, after researching Bitterroot Cabins we decided to give it a chance and head west into cold and possibility of snow. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine the views that we would have and the relaxation we felt each and every day while here. This vacation was such a different feeling and enjoyable in a way that we will never be able to explain to friends and family. We regret that we must end our trip, but look forward to scheduling another vacation in this cabin. It really was a homey feel and decor was awesome. Thank you for allowing us to be able to share your cabin and enjoy the peace and relaxation.

What a wonderful place to share some peace and tranquility with my equally wonderful husband. I am definitely leaving feeling like a different person than when I arrived. Thank you all so much for making this possible for us. Our whole experience since we found your cabin online has been fantastic.

We are preparing to leave our beautiful Como Peaks cabin, selfishly calling it our own and purposely forgetting it belongs to you. Thank you for sharing your perfect home. Thank you Sherrie and Brett for making us feel so perfectly cared for. We’ve fallen in love with the Bitterroot and hope to be neighbors with you all someday soon!
