Driving Directions to the Bitterroot Valley
US Highway 93 runs north and south the entire length of the Bitterroot Valley, and all our rental cabins are accessible from US 93. The Bitterroot Valley’s primary, year round routes in and out are from the north and the south.
From the North
From Missoula, MT, take US 93 approximately 50 miles south to Hamilton, MT, which is in the center of the Bitterroot Valley. Interstate 90 runs through Missoula and connects to US 93 via Reserve Street, which has excellent signage for US 93 and Hamilton.
From the South
From Salmon, ID, take US 93 approximately 90 miles north to Hamilton, MT. This route traverses Lost Trail Pass (7,014’) at the Montana/Idaho border.

From Interstate 15, take MT 43 west through the scenic Big Hole Valley, then head north on US 93 approximately 46 miles to Hamilton. This route also traverses Lost Trail Pass (7,014’) at the Montana/Idaho border.
