We’ve combined the Slack Barn with lodging at two historic homes for a weekend wedding package that is truly unique in the Bitterroot Valley. The venue will become headquarters for your wedding weekend with family and friends all able to enjoy this unique location for your special day.
The One and Only Slack Barn
The Slack Barn is a one of a kind facility in the Bitterroot Valley and it’s never looked better.
You can relax in your wedding planning when you get married at the Slack Barn because Montana weather won’t ruin your day. With indoor and outdoor options for hosting guests, you can adjust to weather conditions by moving all or part of your festivities inside the barn or outside around the barn. Brides just love the flexibility that the barn provides, and no two weddings ever look the same.
A Wedding Package That Makes Sense
We’ve fine tuned our wedding package to meet the needs of brides who are looking for a package that makes sense and that provides a lot of flexibility. Here’s what you get:
The Slack Barn
Check-in at noon on Friday and the Slack Barn and surrounding grounds are yours for the weekend. You can setup and decorate whenever you want, and most couples host their rehearsal dinner on the property the night before the wedding and reception. Clean up Sunday morning and check-out by noon.
The Slack and Chaffin homes are also yours beginning at noon on Friday and check-out is at noon on Sunday. You can provide lodging for out of town guests, family, or for bridesmaids and groomsmen, it’s totally up to you!
Tables & Chairs
Brand spanking new 60″ round tables and white folding chairs for 200 people are included for your use, along with a variety of rectangular tables and flower stands.
A 12′ x 16′ dance floor is located in the upper level of the Slack Barn.
We provide two large trash receptacles for your use.
New Guest Restroom Facilities
No more port-a-potties for your guests as we’re building new public restrooms next to the Slack Barn. Two stalls each for the ladies and gentlemen in your group.
Package Cost and Payment Plan
The Wedding package costs $4,500 and is paid in 3 payments of $1,500.
The first payment is due along with your contract to confirm your date.
The second payment is due midway between your booking date and wedding date.
The final payment is due upon check-in.
Lodging Makes the Difference
The wedding package includes lodging for two nights at the historic Slack Home and Chaffin Home. These charming homestead houses sleep a total of 14 people in 7 bedrooms and are walking distance from each other and the Slack Barn.
While most wedding groups use the Slack Home for the bride and bridesmaids, and the Chaffin Home for the groom and the groomsmen, you are welcome to use the lodging however it works best for your group. For more detailed information about the historic homes, check out our rental listings for the Slack Home and the Chaffin Home.
