History and Climate
Known as the banana belt of Montana, the Bitterroot Valley enjoys one of the mildest climates in Montana. The area is rich with history - from Lewis & Clark's travels, through the mining heyday of Marcus Daly, to the current growth that is some of the fastest in the state.
